Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College sophomore designated hitter Tim Carney earned a spot on the All-American first team for his performance in the 2015 season. Carney played in 49 games with an overall .427 batting average. Carney totaled 79 hits, including 23 doubles, seven triples, six home runs and 57 RBI's.
Lincroft, NJ- Members of the Brookdale baseball team earned All-Region and All-GSAC distinctions for the 2015 season.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 7-4 in the Region XIX championship series to end the 2015 season.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team downed the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 8-7 in game one of the final four teams in the Region XIX tournament. Sophomore pitcher Chris Marte led from the mound, tossing for eight innings, striking out five batters and allowing seven scattered hits.
Blackwood, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team overwhelmed the Cougars of Camden County College in the first round of the Region XIX tournament, 7-6 and 11-3. In game one, sophomore Chris Marte pitched eight innings, striking out five batters and allowing 10 scattered hits.
Bel Air, MD- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 7-5 and 8-4. In game one, sophomore pitcher Mike Imperato threw for six innings and struck out four batters.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 11-4. Sophomore outfielder Tim Carney drove in three runs for the Jersey Blues.
Paramus, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team rallied from four runs down but came up on the short end of a 5-4 defeat in nine innings to the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College.
Bethlehem, PA- The Brookdale baseball team split with the Spartans of Northampton Community College in a region XIX doubleheader. In game one, sophomore pitcher Chris Marte threw the seven inning, 3-2 victory over Northampton. Marte tallied five strikeouts and five hits. Freshman pitcher Tyler Folger smacked the go ahead two RBI single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blues ahead.
Mays Landing, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team overpowered the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 3-2 and 7-1. In game one, freshman first baseman Joe Sadler recorded the go ahead RBI in the seventh inning for the win.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Owls of Union County College, 7-6 and 6-1. In game one, sophomore second baseman Jon Baturgil hit a walk off single in the bottom of the seventh inning, driving in the winning run for the Jersey Blues.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team rallied past the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 9-3. Sophomore pitcher Mike Pepio tossed for six innings. Pepio recorded eight strikeouts and five scattered hits.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team extended their win streak to five, defeating the Trojans of Valley Forge Military College, 11-6 and 15-0. Sophomore second baseman Jon Baturgil recorded four hits for two doubles, two scored runs and three RBI's.
Blackwood NJ- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Cougars of Camden County College, 3-2 and 9-0. In game one, sophomore pitcher Chris Marte threw for the win, striking out eight batters and allowing seven scattered hits. Freshman catcher Joel Rivera recorded one double and one scored run.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team defeated Delaware County Community College, 13-3. Sophomore shortstop Spencer Young sparked the Blues offense with three hits, ripping a home run, double and game winning sac-fly. Young also tallied three RBI's.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team dropped the conference match-up to the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 11-3. With the game at 3-0 in favor of the Jersey Blues after five innings, the Dukes scored six runs in their half of the sixth frame to take a 6-3 lead.
