Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 9-8 in extra innings on a walk off homerun. Sophomore outfielder Luis Hidalgo sparked the Blues offense with a double and three-run homer.

Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 9-8 in extra innings on a walk off homerun. Sophomore outfielder Luis Hidalgo sparked the Blues offense with a double and three-run homer.
In the second inning, freshman first baseman Joe Sadler launched a solo homerun to give the Blues a 1-0 lead over the Roadrunners. Sadler also recored two RBI's, two scored runs and another solo homerun later in the game.
Freshman catcher Nick Blaney registered his first homerun of the season. Sophomore third baseman Tim Carney went 3-4 from the plate, ripping a homerun and recording two RBI's.
The team returns to action at home against the Vikings of Ocean County College on Tuesday, April 14th.
