Brookdale Tops Del-Tech Owens; Kane Smacks Home Run

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues baseball team topped the Roadrunners of Delaware Technical Community College-Owens, 15-0.  Freshman pitcher Joe DeCelie threw for the win. DeCelie pitched five innings, striking out five batters and giving up four scattered hits.

Sophomore third baseman Tim Carney recorded a double and two RBI's while sophomore shortstop Spencer Young went 2-4 from the plate, collecting a double and three RBI's.

Sophmore Aaron Kane smacked a home run and knocked in two runs for the team.

Brookdale returns to action on the road at Luzerne County Community College for a doubleheader on Sunday, April 12th.
