Lakeland, FL- The Brookdale baseball team defeated the Cyclones of St. Cloud Technical and Community College, 6-5 in game one. Sophomore catcher Aaron Kane went 1-3 from the plate, tallying a double and RBI.
Sophomore second baseman Jon Baturgil collected two hits, driving in three runs while sophomore short stop Luis Hidalgo registered one hit and one RBI.
Sophomore pitcher Justin Harnett threw for the win, striking out three batters and allowing only three hits.
In game two, the Blues fell to the Cyclones, 4-2. Freshman catcher Joel Rivera smashed a double, bringing in one run while sophomore third baseman Tim Carney recorded a hit and RBI.
The Blues return to action on Monday, March 16th against Lincoln Land Community College.
