Bel Air, MD- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 7-5 and 8-4. In game one, sophomore pitcher Mike Imperato threw for six innings and struck out four batters.
At bat, freshman Joe Sadler ripped a homerun to left field driving in two runs for the Jersey Blues in the top of the seventh inning. Sophomore outfielder Tim Carney recorded a double and one RBI.
In game two, sophomore shortstop Spencer Young registered one double and one RBI while freshman pitcher Jimmy Rodriguez smacked a double and scored one run for the team.
Brookdale returns to action on Saturday, May 2nd at Camden County College for the first round of the Region XIX tournament.
