Tim Carney Named GSAC Player Of The Week

Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore Tim Carney earns Brookdale's first GSAC Baseball Player of the Week honor, for the week ending April 5^th.  The designated hitter/third baseman hit for a scorching .600 (12-for-20) with eight runs and seven RBIs in a 4-0 week for Brookdale Community College.  Of his 12 hits, seven were of the extra-base variety with four doubles, two triples and one homerun.   The Brick native was a homerun away from hitting for the cycle in a 27-0 rout of Bucks.  In that same game, Carney was five-for-five with four RBIs.
