Jon Baturgil Records Four Hits; Brookdale Extends Win Streak
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team extended their win streak to five, defeating the Trojans of Valley Forge Military College, 11-6 and 15-0. Sophomore second baseman Jon Baturgil recorded four hits for two doubles, two scored runs and three RBI's.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale baseball team extended their win streak to five, defeating the Trojans of Valley Forge Military College, 11-6 and 15-0. Sophomore second baseman Jon Baturgil recorded four hits for two doubles, two scored runs and three RBI's.
In game one, sophomore outfielder Harold Hester knocked in two runs and scored one run while freshman Jimmy Rodriguez pitched for the win, striking out 11 Trojan batters and allowing only three hits.
In game two, sophomore shortstop Spencer Young registered two scored runs and one double. Sophomore third baseman Tim Carney and freshman first baseman Joe Sadler each drove in runs for the Jersey Blues.
The team improves their overall record to, 18-15. Brookdale returns to action on Monday, April 20th against Rowan College at Gloucester County.
