Baseball Sweeps Luzerne County Community College In DH
Nanticoke, PA- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College, 15-0 and 7-1. In game one, sophomore pitcher Mike Pepio earned his second win of the season, tallying five strikeouts from the mound.

Nanticoke, PA- The Brookdale baseball team swept the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College, 15-0 and 7-1. In game one, sophomore pitcher Mike Pepio earned his second win of the season, tallying five strikeouts from the mound.
Freshman outfielder Elvis Clime went 2-4 from the plate. Clime recorded one double and four scored runs. Sophomore third baseman Tim Carney collected four hits for two doubles and three RBI's. Freshman pitcher Andrew Schulz posted a double and one scored run.
In game two, freshman catcher Joel Rivera ripped two hits and scored two runs. Rivera also drove in two runs. Freshman outfielder Alex Cameron went 2-3 from the plate, knocking in two runs. Cameron also added one scored run.
Sophomore Mike Imperato pitched for the win, striking out nine Luzerne batters.
Brookdale returns to the diamond on Monday, April 13th at Rowan College at Gloucester County.
