Winter Haven, FL- The Brookdale baseball team fell to the Wood Ducks of Century College, 8-7 and 4-0. In the seventh inning of game one, the Blues surrendered four runs, allowing Century to take the game.
Sophomore third baseman Tim Carney tallied a double and RBI while sophomore short stop Luis Hidalgo, sophomore second baseman Jon Baturgil and sophomore outfielder Harold Hester posted a triple and RBI each. Carney and sophomore catcher Aaron Kane also recorded an RBI apiece.
In game two, the Blues collected four hits. Brookdale returns to action on Friday, March 20th against Community College of Rhode Island.
