The two sophomores honored, forward Tyler Hawkins, and guard, David Calloway, each had a respectable night in the stat book. Hawkins scored 23 points as Calloway put up nine points and seven assists.

The Blues showed some promise in the first half as they had a 34-30 lead with eight minutes remaining until the Owls went on a 36-12 run to finish the half, 64-46.
