Jersey Blues Nip Rockland Hawks To Cap Off Memorable Sophomore Night
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team finished their home season with a memorable sophomore night and a nice 76-70 win. The two sophomores honored, forward Tyler Hawkins, and guard, David Calloway, each had a respectable night in the stat book. Hawkins scored 23 points as Calloway put up nine points and seven assists.

The first half was a bit of a nip and tuck as the Blues took a two point lead in the last second when Tyler Hawkins was fouled connecting a three pointer. Minutes into the second half, Brookdale took an eight point lead and held on all the way down the stretch. The freshman guards instrumental in the win, Dameire Fitch, and Jelani Carter, combined for 25 points and 17 rebounds on the afternoon.
Brookdale moves to a 16-10 record and will play their final game of the regular season in Blackwood, NJ, against the Camden County College Cougars on Tuesday, February, 18th @ 7:00pm.
