Union CC Owls Fly By The Brookdale Blues
Cranford, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team fell to the Union County College Owls in their home nest Thursday night with a final score of 122-99. The Blues showed some promise in the first half as they had a 34-30 lead with eight minutes remaining until the Owls went on a 36-12 run to finish the half, 64-46.

The Blues showed some promise in the first half as they had a 34-30 lead with eight minutes remaining until the Owls went on a 36-12 run to finish the half, 64-46.
In the second half of play, Brookdale cut the lead to 10 points but that was as close as they would get to Union. Sophomore forward, Tyler Hawkins, paced Brookdale with an aggressive 27 points as freshman guard, Adam Kukaj tallied 16 points. Two freshman guards, Marc Bruce and Dameire Fitch, each contributed 10 points a piece.
The Jersey Blues will look to rebound in their final game on Saturday, February 15th @ 1:00pm when they host Rockland Community College in the Robert J. Collins Arena.
