Frustration Continues For Blues With 75-73 Loss
Vineland, NJ - It was another tough night for Brookdale men's basketball losing a fourth close game by just one or two points. The 8-1 Dukes of Rowan College South Jersey Cumberland, took complete advantage of the excessive missed foul throws and layups throughout the game.
Vineland, NJ - It was another tough night for Brookdale men's basketball losing a fourth close game by just one or two points. The 8-1 Dukes of Rowan College South Jersey Cumberland, took complete advantage of the excessive missed foul throws and layups throughout the game.
The scoreboard read 73-72, Blues up, and with 13 seconds left in the game Brookdale fouled sending the Dukes to the line to make their two freebies. With six seconds left, Brookdale headed down the court for one last play only to turn the ball over as the clock depleated. One player, freshman forward Jelani Carter scored in double figures with 28 points. Freshman guard Tyreese Bryant finished with nine points and sophomore guard, David Calloway dished out six assists.
The 2-5 Jersey Blues will welcome the Vikings of Ocean County College on Tuesday, December 10th @ 5:00pm.
