Brookdale Suffers Onslaught From Ocean With 78-65 Loss
Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men's team was defeated by the Ocean County College Vikings, 78-65. The Jersey Blues fall to 12-8 on the season and 10-7 in the GSAC play.

Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale Community College men's team was defeated by the Ocean County College Vikings, 78-65. The Jersey Blues fall to 12-8 on the season and 10-7 in the GSAC play.
The Vikings found a rhythm in the contest and the Blues simply struggled to keep up. Ocean led by as much as 13 points in the first half, then Brookdale cut the deficit to seven, even two, but they could not get ahead.
Sophomore guard, Tyler Hawkins, was the top Brookdale scorer with 16 points. Freshman forward, Jeremiah Fleurant, dropped 15 points, and freshman guard, Beyon Wilson added 10.
Up next, the Jersey Blues (12-8) will take on the Spartans of Northampton Community College (19-2) in Bethlehem, PA, on Saturday, February 1st, @ 2:00pm.
