New Haven, CT - Through the games entirety, the Jersey Blues struggled to keep up with Gateway Community College. At the final five minute mark of the game, Brookdale was able to get within five points, but were simply outhustled and ran out of gas.
The Blues were led by sophomore forward Tyler Hawkins, who continues to score in double figures since his January 9th start, adding 24 points on the afternoon. Freshman guard, Beyon Wilson did not disappoint either as he collected 15 points and 10 rebounds.
The Blues remain in Connecticut until Sunday, January 26th, when they face the Pointers of UConn-Avery Point (7-9) @ 2:00pm.
