Carneys Point, NJ - Just shy of a 10 game winning streak for the Jersey Blues, the Mighty Oaks of Salem Community College had other plans, taking the win 62-51. The high percentage of missed shots, free throws and turnovers discouraged any kind of rhythm for Brookdale.
The prime scorer for Brookdale was sophomore forward Tyler Hawkins, with 23 points. The Blues will head to Connecticut for the weekend to play the first of two games against New Haven's, Gateway Community College, on Saturday, January 25th, @ 1:00pm.
