Brookdale Outruns The Roadrunners In Last Minutes

Sewell, NJ - Trailing almost the entire game until the last four minutes of play, Brookdale geared up and surpassed the RCSJ - Gloucester Roadrunners 74-68.

The Jersey Blues were down 36-32 at the half and struggled getting within 10 points until the Blues took control of the game in the last minutes. The 13 straight made foul shots certainly worked in Brookdale's favor, but the golden play of the night was when freshman guard Marc Bruce propelled the Blues to a six point lead with his timely four point play at 1:51 left on the clock.

A big afternoon in the stats book for freshman guard Allen Ozojie with 23 points points, 11 rebounds, and five blocks as freshman forward Jelani Carter dropped 16 points.

The Brookdale men (4-5) will look for their third win in a row at home on Tuesday, December 17th, 5:00pm vs the Mighty Oaks of Salem Community College (3-9).
