Brookdale Men Rally Late For Overtime Win Against UConn Avery Point 76-71
Groton, CT - Down 10 points going into the second half, the Blues fought back and tied in the final minutes of regulation at 65 a piece to head into overtime. Brookdale took complete control and went on an 11-6 run to secure the game with a 76-71 final.

Groton, CT - Down 10 points going into the second half, the Jersey Blues fought back to tie it up in the final minutes of regulation at 65 a piece to head into overtime. Brookdale took complete control and went on an 11-6 run to secure the game with a 76-71 final.
Freshman guard Beyon Wilson scored 25 points with 12 rebounds overall, but his 19 points in the second half pushed the Blues into overtime and then his seven points in the final overtime minutes were crucial for Brookdale's win. Freshman guard, Jelani Carter put in for 13 points, six rebounds and four assists, and freshman forward Tyler Hawkins added 10 points.
The Brookdale men will travel to Sussex Community College to face the Skylanders on Tuesday, January, 28th, for a 7:00pm game time.
