Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College freshman first baseman Bethany Evans was named to the NFCA (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) All-American first team for her performance in the 2016 season.
Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore second baseman Cassie Varvaro, a 2015 NJCAA All-American and Marucci Elite Hitter Award recipient, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Georgian Court University and play for the Lions softball team.
Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore third baseman Jacquie Coulahan has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Georgian Court University and play for the Lions softball team.
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College sophomore second baseman Cassie Varvaro, freshman first baseman Bethany Evans and sophomore center-fielder Amanda Pringle made first team All-Conference and All-Region for the 2016 season.
Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale softball team fell against the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1-0 and 7-1 in the finals of the Region XIX tournament.
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues softball team defeated the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College in two games to advance to the finals of the Region XIX tournament.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team fell twice against the Titans of County College of Morris, 10-1 and 4-1. Sophomore second baseman Cassie Varvaro posted an RBI single in game one while sophomore center-fielder Amanda Pringle went 3-3 at bat.
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues softball team took down the Division II Mustangs of Monroe College, 13-5 and 9-7. In game one, sophomore outfielder Taylor Sheridan crushed a grand slam. Freshman second baseman Danelle Lewis ripped her first three-run homer of the season.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team celebrated the nine sophomores during today's doubleheader against Anne Arundel Community College.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team swept the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 4-0 and 9-5. In game one, freshman first baseman Bethany Evans led the way with a two-run homer, her sixth of the season. Freshman right-handed pitcher Lauren Coppinger spun for the two-hit shutout.
Vineland, NJ- Freshman first baseman Bethany Evans sparked the Blues offense against conference rival Cumberland County College. Brookdale topped the Dukes, 10-1 in game one. Evans crushed a three-run homer and knocked in four RBI's.
Toms River, NJ- Sophomore outfielder Taylor Sheridan led the Jersey Blues in RBI's against the Vikings of Ocean County College. In game one, Brookdale downed the Vikings, 16-2. Sheridan went 3-3 and tallied two doubles and six RBI's while freshman utility Megan Mego posted four hits and four RBI's.
Bethlehem, PA- The Brookdale softball team collected two wins against the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 5-4 and 7-1. In game one, freshman outfielder Taylor Mennie crushed a three-run double. In the seventh inning, the Jersey Blues took the lead after scoring two runs from an outfield error.
Schnecksville, PA- The Jersey Blues softball team rolled past the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College, 12-0 and 11-2. Freshman catcher Olivia Carbone posted a game-high five RBI's including a three-run triple. Sophomore outfielder Taylor Sheridan went 3-3 at bat and tallied two RBI's.
Bel Air, MD- The Brookdale softball team grabbed two wins against the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College under the lights. In game one, the Blues defeated Harford, 11-1. Freshman first baseman Bethany Evans ripped three hits and knocked in four RBI's.
Lincroft, NJ- Sophomore pitcher Victoria Vogt earned her fourth shutout of the season in game two against the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 10-0.
