Taylor Sheridan Tallies 7 RBI's; Brookdale Pulls Away From Ocean In Doubleheader
Toms River, NJ- Sophomore outfielder Taylor Sheridan led the Jersey Blues in RBI's against the Vikings of Ocean County College. In game one, Brookdale downed the Vikings, 16-2. Sheridan went 3-3 and tallied two doubles and six RBI's while freshman utility Megan Mego posted four hits and four RBI's.

Toms River, NJ- Sophomore outfielder Taylor Sheridan led the Jersey Blues in RBI's against the Vikings of Ocean County College. In game one, Brookdale downed the Vikings, 16-2. Sheridan went 3-3 and tallied two doubles and six RBI's while freshman utility Megan Mego posted four hits and four RBI's.
In game two, Sheridan ripped three more hits and knocked in another run as the the Blues overwhelmed Ocean, 11-0. Freshman Lauren Coppinger pitched both games and earned a shutout in game two. Coppinger recorded five strikeouts from the mound. Mego added a three run-triple.
The team improves their overall record to 24-10 and will next travel to Cumberland County College on Thursday, April 21st for a 3:30pm doubleheader.
