Kaetlyn Chigirovich Knocks In Two Runs As The Blues Overtake Sussex Skylanders
Newton, NJ- The Brookdale softball team overtook the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, 12-0 and 18-2 in the conference doubleheader. Freshman first baseman Kaetlyn Chigirovich connected four times at bat and knocked in two runs for the Jersey Blues.

Newton, NJ- The Brookdale softball team overtook the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, 12-0 and 18-2 in the conference doubleheader. Freshman first baseman Kaetlyn Chigirovich connected four times at bat and knocked in two runs for the Jersey Blues.
Freshman left-fielder Taylor Mennie ripped her seventh home run of the season and drove in a game-high eight RBI's. Mennie also posted four doubles in the match-up.
Sophomore pitcher Victoria Vogt collected the shutout win in game one with seven strikeouts while freshman pitcher Danelle Lewis earned the victory in game two.
The team improves their overall record to 14-10, 4-0 in conference play. Brookdale returns to action on the road against the Titans of County College of Morris on Tuesday, April 12th.
