Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team battled back and forth with the visiting, Community College of Philadelphia Lions, as they held on to win, 81-76, in overtime. The Blues couldn't lock up their ten point lead at the half, which ultimately brought them to a 69-69 end of regulation score. Unfortunately for Brookdale, the Lions continued their momentum and outscored the Blues, 12-7, in overtime for the win.

Vineland, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues men's basketball team downed the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes in a hard-fought, 76-65, win on the road. The Blues were up at the half, 34-23, and built themselves a nice 21 point lead until the Dukes diminished the lead to six. With a couple of clutch baskets from freshman guard, Kevin Mateo, and freshman forward, Niles Halliburton, the Blues were able to squeeze out the win.
