Jersey Blues Down The RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes, 76-65
Vineland, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues men's basketball team downed the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes in a hard-fought, 76-65, win on the road. The Blues were up at the half, 34-23, and built themselves a nice 21 point lead until the Dukes diminished the lead to six. With a couple of clutch baskets from freshman guard, Kevin Mateo, and freshman forward, Niles Halliburton, the Blues were able to squeeze out the win.

Mateo led the Blues with 21 points, sophomore guard, Fres Cabrera, collected 11 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, and sophomore forward, Allen Ozojie, contributed 10 points.
Brookdale is currently 17-1, and will be on the road once again for more conference play against the RCSJ- Gloucester Roadrunners, on Saturday, 2/5, for a 2:00pm tip-off.
