Cross Country Interest Meeting On Thursday, April 23rd
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale cross country teams will be hosting an interest meeting on Thursday, April 23rd at noon. Anyone interested in running XC please come to the athletic office located in the Collins Arena.

Sarah Dzurina Places At NJCAA DIII XC National Championship
Canadaigua, NY- Freshman Sarah Dzurina competed at the NJCAA DIII XC National Championship. Dzurina placed 65th out of 109 runners, running a 5k time of (24:26).

Men's Cross Country Places Fifth At Region XIX Meet
Newark, NJ- The Brookdale men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Region XIX meet on Saturday, October 25th at Branch Brook Park. On the women's side, freshman Sarah Dzurina placed 8th, one place away from making first team All-Region with a season best time of (22:22) in the 5k race. Dzurina advanced to the National Championship race.

Men's Cross Country Finishes 27th Overall At Princeton Invitational
Princeton, NJ- The Brookdale cross country teams competed at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, October 18th. The Jersey Blues competed primarily against Division I, II, and III schools. In the 6k race on the women's side, freshman Sarah Dzurina finished with a time of (30:27). Sophomore Mikaela Peters ran a time of (31:32). Rounding out the women's team were freshmen Ana Ventura, finishing in (33:21) and Julia Zelich running (36:05).

Cross Country Finishes NJIT Highlander Challenge
Newark, NJ- The Brookdale men's and women's cross country teams competed in the NJIT Highlander Challenge at Branch Brook Park. In the women's 5k, freshman Sarah Dzurina finished ninety-first out of 162 runners with a season best time of (23:24). Sophomore Mikaela Peters finished in 112th place with a time of (24:35).

Lincroft, NJ: The Brookdale men's and women's cross country teams volunteered at the third annual 5K run/walk Challenge for Chhange (Center for Holocaust, Human Rights and Genocide Education).

Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams Complete Course At Osprey Open
Galloway, NJ- The men's cross country team finished eleventh out of twelve teams at Stockton College. Sophomore Tyler Arabia placed eighty-fourth with a time of (31:43) followed by freshman Rob Trigg in eighty-eighth place (32:08).

Allentown, PA- The Jersey Blues hustled at Muhlenburg College for the Mule Falcon Classic cross county meet. Sophomore Tyler Arabia led the men's team, finishing seventeen with a time of (18:43).

Cross Country Begins Season With Monmouth University Kick-Off
Long Branch, NJ- Brookdale Community College opened the 2014 season by competing in the Monmouth University XC Kick-Off. On the women’s side, sophomore Mikaela Peters finished in (20:27.5). Freshman Sarah Dzurina came in at (19:36.1) followed by freshman Ana Ventura (22:55.7).
