Cross Country Competes At Garrett Mountain

Woodland Park, NJ- The Brookdale men's and women's cross country teams competed at Garrett Mountain, hosted by the Roadrunners of Ramapo College. The 5k race was run on a course with many hills and the field of runners had to deal with the humid 85 degree weather.

Sophomore Wilson Melendez finished in 26th place with a time of (20:14) for the 5k while Tyler Arabia placed 27th with a time of (20:20).

In the women's competition, sophomore Mikaela Peters ran the 5k in (26:09).  Freshman Sarah Dzurina placed 19th with a time of (26:12).

The Blues return to action at Muhlenburg College for the Mule Falcon Classic on Saturday, September 13th.
