Cross Country Begins Season With Monmouth University Kick-Off

Long Branch, NJ- Brookdale Community College opened the 2014 season by competing in the Monmouth University XC Kick-Off. On the women’s side, sophomore Mikaela Peters finished in (20:27.5). Freshman Sarah Dzurina came in at (19:36.1) followed by freshman Ana Ventura (22:55.7).

Long Branch, NJ- Brookdale Community College opened the 2014 season by competing in the Monmouth University XC Kick-Off.  On the women's side, sophomore Mikaela Peters finished in (20:27.5).  Freshman Sarah Dzurina came in at (19:36.1) followed by freshman Ana Ventura (22:55.7). 

In the men's competition, sophomore Tyler Arabia completed the race in (23:39.5). Sophomore Wilson Melendez finished in (24:31.4) after freshman Robert Trigg came in at (23:42.1).

The Jersey Blues are next in action on Friday, September 5th at Garret Mountain in Woodland Park, NJ. The event is hosted by Ramapo College.
