Newark, NJ—Lifelong New Jersey resident Bob Dubina has joined the NJIT coaching staff as an assistant coach of women's basketball, head coach Steve Lanpher announced.
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College freshman guard Brianne Allender was named to the second All-Region team and first All-Conference team. Freshman forward Colleen Branagan was named to the third All-Region team.
Bethlehem, PA- The Jersey Blues women's basketball team fell to the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College at Northampton Community College in the Region XIX semi-finals, 65-59.
Lincroft, NJ- Defense was the key for the Jersey Blues in their defeat over the Dukes of Cumberland County College in the quarter-finals of the Region XIX tournament, 57-53. Freshman guard Michelle Montefinese posted 10 crucial points in the second half to keep Brookdale ahead.
Lincroft, NJ- Freshman guard I'Briana Moore led the Jersey Blues to victory over the Vikings of Mercer County Community College, 53-33. Moore sank 15 straight points and totaled 23 points for the game.
Vineland, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's basketball team overtook the Dukes of Cumberland County College in a conference match-up, 69-56. Sophomore forward Brianna Rodriguez double-doubled, draining 14 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Paramus, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team outscored the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College in the fourth quarter to capture the 67-51 conference victory.
Edison, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's basketball team suffered a tough defeat to the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 75-74 with seconds remaining on the clock.
Lincroft, NJ- Freshman forward Colleen Branagan topped the Blues offense against the Raptors of Montgomery College-Rockville, 77-65. Branagan also contributed two steals, two assists and five rebounds.
Blackwood, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team bounced past the Cougars of Camden County College, 78-23 in conference play. Freshman guard I'Briana Moore drained a game-high 29 points, shooting seven for 10 from the three-point line. Moore also made nine steals.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team dashed past the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 69-47. Freshman guard I'Briana Moore drained 17 points, swishing a total of three three-pointers. Sophomore forward Brianna Rodriguez posted eight points and pulled down five rebounds.
Groton, CT- The Brookdale women's basketball team fell short against the University of Connecticut-Avery Point, 86-59. Freshman forward Colleen Branagan led the team in points, knocking down 13.
Holyoke, MA- The Jersey Blues women's basketball team overtook the Cougars of Holyoke Community College, 72-27. Freshman forward Jackie Lingo led the Blues in rebounds, pulling down 12 for the team.
Toms River, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's basketball team was defeated by the Vikings of Ocean County College, 50-30. Brookdale had a tough shooting night from the three-point line, sinking only one out of twenty-four taken.
Middletown, NY- The Brookdale women's basketball team beat out of region opponent SUNY Orange 67-62 on the road.
Mays Landing, NJ-The Brookdale women's basketball team gets a big conference win on the road against the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 63-51.
