Mays Landing, NJ-The Brookdale women's basketball team gets a big conference win on the road against the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 63-51.
Sophomore forward Brianna Rodriguez tallied four points and seven rebounds, but more importantly held the Bucs two forwards to a combined 14 points. Freshman guard Brianne Allender lead all scorers for the Jersey Blues with 14 points. Freshman guard Taleeya Terrell added 11 points to the victory.
The win improves Brookdale to 11-7 overall on the season. The Jersey Blues travel to SUNY Orange for a non-conference match-up on Saturday, January 16th at noon.
