Groton, CT- The Brookdale women's basketball team fell short against the University of Connecticut-Avery Point, 86-59. Freshman forward Colleen Branagan led the team in points, knocking down 13. Branagan also collected nine rebounds.
Freshman guard Brianne Allender tallied 12 points and eight rebounds for the Blues.
The team returns to action on their home court on Tuesday, January 26th to face the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County at 5:00pm.
