Lincroft, NJ - Cross country season is right around the corner! Get involved, find out more, and run with some amazing Jersey Blues!
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's cross country team will be hosting an interest meeting on Thursday, May 25th at 4pm on the Lincroft campus. The meeting will be held in the athletic conference room, located in the athletics office of the BREC building.
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues men's cross country team banned together to support local non-profit, Lunch Break, in Asbury Park's annual, 5K Santa Run.
Lincroft, NJ - Sophomore, Theodore Purdon, was named the 2022 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Men's Athlete of the Year for the East Region. Amazingly, Purdon earned the award last year as well for his outstanding efforts.
Lincroft, NJ - In just three years as Brookdale's Head Men's Cross Country Coach, Mike Tursi has found himself with not one, but two NJCAA Region XIX Head Coach of the Year awards.
Lincroft, NJ - A big congratulations goes out to sophomore, Theodore Purdon, and freshman, Casey Brown, for being awarded 1st Team All-Region in men's cross country, and leading the pack in earning the Region 19 Championship for the second year in a row.
Westfield, MA - The Brookdale men's cross country team finished 11th overall at the NJCAA DIII Championship, hosted by Holyoke Community College this past weekend.
Newark, DE - The Brookdale men's cross country team has done it again! The Jersey Blues topped all in the Region XIX Championships at the White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, Delaware, for the second year in a row. This is the first cross country team to ever become back-to-back region champions.
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross country team moved up in the NJCAA DIII USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll for Week four - October 26th! In the week-by-week ranking, the Jersey Blues went from #9 to #5 in just four weeks.
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross country moved up another slot this past week from #7 to #6 in the NJCAA Division III USTFCCCA National Coaches' Poll for week #3 - October 19th.
Newark, DE - The NJCAA 7th ranked Brookdale men's cross country team continues to move upward and onward. This past weekend the Blues competed in the 8K Delaware Invitational at White Clay Creek State Park. The course was very hilly and challenging, but was great preparation for the Blues since they will be returning in two weeks for the Region XIX Championship.
Lincroft, NJ - Pushing up from #9 to #7 for Week 2 in the NJCAA DIII Men's Cross Country USTFCCCA National Coaches' Ranking are the Brookdale Jersey Blues.
Newark, NJ - Brookdale cross country continues to make their mark in the country and region, and this past weekend was no different. The Blues participated in the 8k NJIT Highlander Cross Country Challenge in Branch Brook Park, and placed 8th out of 24 full teams. The teams consisted of NCAA DI, DII, and 4-year DIII teams. Brookdale was the top DIII JUCO team.
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross country team has been recognized and ranked as 9th in the country for Week 1 in the NJCAA DIII Men's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll.
Ewing, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross country team had a solid outing at the TCNJ Invitational, finishing as the top junior college. The Blues achieved 4th place out of 10 teams with a total of 135 points, as all the Jersey Blues beat their personal times.
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale sophomore top runner, Theodore Purdon, has earned The U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Male National Athlete of the Week for the week of September 19th, 2022. This is the second year in a row that Purdon has been named to this prestigious list.
