Cross Country Finishes As Top Junior College At TCNJ Invitational
Ewing, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross country team had a solid outing at the TCNJ Invitational, finishing as the top junior college. The Blues achieved 4th place out of 10 teams with a total of 135 points, as all the Jersey Blues beat their personal times.
Ewing, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross country team had a solid outing at the TCNJ Invitational, finishing as the top junior college. The Blues achieved 4th place out of 10 teams with a total of 135 points, as all the Jersey Blues beat their personal times.
The Jersey Blues were led by sophomore, Theodore Purdon, who placed 13th overall with a time of 27.08. Next to cross the line was sophomore, Josh Seba, at 29.49, placing 38th overall. On the heels of Seba was freshman, Casey Brown, who placed 39th in 29.51, as sophomore, Joshua Beer, was marked at 46th in 30.39. Rounding out the scoring was freshman, Jayden Morris, placing 53rd for a time of 31.53.
Also accomplishing great personal best times were freshman, Matt Newman, placing 62nd in 34.07, freshman, Joshua Cabral, in 76th place at 39.40, and freshman, Aeshawn Carney, placing 76th in 43.08.
The Jersey Blues will compete next on Saturday, October 8th, in the NJIT Invitational at Branch Brook Park, Newark N.J.
