Newark, DE - The Brookdale men's cross country team has done it again! The Jersey Blues topped all in the Region XIX Championships at the White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, Delaware, for the second year in a row. This is the first cross country team to ever become back-to-back region champions.
Newark, DE - The NJCAA 7th ranked Brookdale men's cross country team continues to move upward and onward. This past weekend the Blues competed in the 8K Delaware Invitational at White Clay Creek State Park. The course was very hilly and challenging, but was great preparation for the Blues since they will be returning in two weeks for the Region XIX Championship.
Newark, NJ - Brookdale cross country continues to make their mark in the country and region, and this past weekend was no different. The Blues participated in the 8k NJIT Highlander Cross Country Challenge in Branch Brook Park, and placed 8th out of 24 full teams. The teams consisted of NCAA DI, DII, and 4-year DIII teams. Brookdale was the top DIII JUCO team.
Ewing, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross country team had a solid outing at the TCNJ Invitational, finishing as the top junior college. The Blues achieved 4th place out of 10 teams with a total of 135 points, as all the Jersey Blues beat their personal times.
Lincroft, NJ - In an epic finish to the First Annual Jersey Blues Invitational cross country meet, Brookdale finished in 2nd place as a result of a 6th man tie breaker. The Blues and the RCSJ - Gloucester Roadrunners each had a total of 32 points from their top five runners, but the Roadrunners 6th man came in 12th as Brookdale's finished 15th to seal 1st place.
Philadelphia, PA - The Brookdale men's cross country team ran in its season opener at the Metropolitan Invitational in Philadelphia, PA. The 8K course at Belmont Plateau Park is considered one of the most challenging 8K cross country courses on the east coast. Brookdale was one of only two community colleges in the meet, but ran a very competitive race, placing 9th out of 16 teams.
