Purdon And Brown Earn Men's Cross Country First Team All-Region XIX

Lincroft, NJ - A big congratulations goes out to sophomore, Theodore Purdon, and freshman, Casey Brown, for being awarded 1st Team All-Region in men's cross country, and leading the pack to win the Region 19 Championship for the second year in a row.

Purdon came in 1st place overall at the Regions, the first Brookdale individual runner to win back-to-back Region XIX Championships, on top of beating his course personal record by 11 seconds with a time of 28:00 minutes. Crossing the finish line in 7th place overall, 2nd for the Blues, was freshman, Casey Brown. He had the best race of his career at 30:22, and beat his course personal record by two minutes and 24 seconds.
