Sewell, NJ- Freshman Belle Wingert finished second at third singles at the Region XIX tennis tournament. Wingert suffered a tough defeat to a season undefeated opponent in the finals match, 6-1, 6-1.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team fell to the Centurions of Bucks County Community College, 5-4. Sophomore Grace Wills opened singles action with a 6-1, 6-2 win at first singles.
Blackwood, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team fell to the Cougars of Camden County College, 6-3. Freshmen Emily Smilovic and Alexis Benadum posted an 8-2 victory at second doubles. Benadum also collected a point at fourth singles, downing her opponent, 6-2, 6-1.
Toms River, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team defeated the Vikings of Ocean County College, 5-4 in a tough conference match-up. After eight matches, it came down to fourth singles. Freshman Alexis Benadum fought back in three sets to win, 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team was swept by the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 0-9.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team defeated the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 6-3. Second doubles partners Emily Smilovic and Alexis Benadum fought back from a 0-3 deficit to win 8 straight games to post an 8-3 victory.
Paramus, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team topped the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 6-1. The Jersey Blues swept first and second doubles matches, 8-6 and 8-0. Sophomore Grace Wills opened singles action with a 6-1, 6-0 win at first singles.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brokdale women's tennis team was defeated by the Vikings of Ocean County College, 5-4. The Jersey Blues took two out of three in doubles matches. Sophomore Grace Wills and freshman Belle Wingert posted an 8-2 victory at first doubles while Emily Smilovic and Alexis Benadum downed their opponent, 9-7 at second doubles.
Lincroft NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team defeated the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 5-2. The Jersey Blues came away with two points out of first and second doubles action. Sophomore first singles Grace Wills, freshman second singles Emily Smilovic and freshman third singles Belle Wingert each won their matches.
West Windsor, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team defeated the Vikings of Mercer County Community College, 5-4. Sophomore Grace Wills opened singles action with a 6-3, 6-0 win at first singles.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team fell to the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 8-0.
