Belle Wingert Earns Second Team All-Region Honors

Sewell, NJ-  Freshman Belle Wingert finished second at third singles at the Region XIX tennis tournament. Wingert suffered a tough defeat to a season undefeated opponent in the finals match, 6-1, 6-1.

In the first round, she defeated Casi Callahan from Ocean County College, 6-1, 6-2.  Belle went on to dominate the next round, downing opponent  Katie Newton from Bucks County Community College, 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the championship round.

Wingert's hard work earned her second team All- Region honors for women's tennis.
