Lincroft, NJ- Marya Trapp, a two-time NJCAA All-American and former Region XIX Player of the Year, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend the New Jersey Institute of Technology and play for the Highlanders’ women’s basketball team.
Colorado Springs, CO- The NJCAA announced the 2014- 2015 Basketball All-America teams. Brookdale Community College sophomore forward Marya Trapp was named to the second All-American team while sophomore guard Isaiah Johnson earned third team All-American honors.
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College sophomore forward Marya Trapp was named to the first All-Region and All-Conference teams. Sophomore guard Paxton Reddington was named to the second All-Conference team and third All-Region team.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team fell to the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 74-58 in the semi-finals of the Region XIX basketball tournament. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp registered her 13th double-double of the season, dropping 34 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team took down Harrisburg Area Community College, 71-56. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp posted a double-double, dropping 30 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Trapp also blocked five shots.
Mays Landing, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team downed the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College, 66-60. Freshman center Brianna Rodriguez powered the Blues offense with 16 points.
Rockville. MD- The Brookdale women's basketball team fell to the Raptors of Montgomery College, 83-55. Freshman guard Ashley Zito topped the Blues offense with 12 points. Zito also grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked two shots.
McHenry, MD- The Brookdale women's basketball team topped the Lakers of Garrett College in double overtime, 79-71. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp led the Jersey Blues to victory. Trapp posted a triple-double, scoring 44 points, grabbing 21 boards and blocking 12 shots.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team downed the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 75-67. After trailing for most of the game, the Blues came back and took the lead late in the second half. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp posted a team-high 31 points. Trapp also collected 10 rebounds and four assists.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team dominated play against the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 65-41. The Jersey Blues took the lead from the start and never looked back. Sophomore guard Paxton Reddington dropped 22 points, swishing four out of eight three-pointers while sophomore guard Kimberly McNelis double-doubled, scoring 17 points, draining five three- pointers and dishing 10 assists.
Edison, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team fell to the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 64-53. Sophomore guard Megan DeGrushe tallied 10 points while sophomore forward Marya Trapp posted 13 points and nine rebounds.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team fell to the Dukes of Cumberland County College in conference play, 66-55. The Jersey Blues, who held the lead for most of the game, saw their six-game winning streak snapped as the Dukes took charge at the end of the game.
Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team downed the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 73-67. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp double-doubled, scoring 30 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team drove past the Vikings of Ocean County College in a GSAC match-up, 81-62. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp led the Blues offense with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore guard Kimberly McNelis earned her first double-double of the season, posting 14 points and 10 assists. McNelis also grabbed five rebounds.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team soundly defeated the Passaic Panthers by a score of 76-62.
Paramus, NJThe Brookdale women's basketball team defeated the Bergen Bulldogs on the road by a score of 69-30.
