Lincroft, NJ- After trailing behind for almost the entire game, the Brookdale women's basketball team edged the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 67-58. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp double-doubled for 18 points and 16 rebounds; Trapp's 7th double-double this season.
Freshman forward Brianna Rodriguez tallied nine points and seven rebounds while sophomore guard Megan DeGrushe added 10 points and five assists. Freshman guard Ashley Zito contributed 10 points and seven rebounds to Brookdale's victory.
The Jersey Blues improve their overall record to 9-5. The team is next in action on Friday, January 9th at Harrisburg Area Community College.
