Women's Basketball Drives Past Ocean Vikings, 81-62
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's basketball team drove past the Vikings of Ocean County College in a GSAC match-up, 81-62. Sophomore forward Marya Trapp led the Blues offense with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore guard Kimberly McNelis earned her first double-double of the season, posting 14 points and 10 assists. McNelis also grabbed five rebounds.

Freshman forward Brianna Rodriguez tallied 16 rebounds and six points while sophomore guard Megan DeGrushe added 10 points. Freshman forward Ashley Zito contributed 12 points to the Blues victory over the Vikings.
Brookdale improves their overall record to 12-5, 8-2 in conference play. The team returns to action on the road at Rowan College at Gloucester County on Thursday, January 22nd for 5:00pm tip-off.
