Cross Country Personal Bests Prevail At Stockton's Osprey Open
Galloway, NJ - The Jersey Blues cross country team had some outstanding performances while making their mark with personal bests at Stockton University's Osprey Open.
Galloway, NJ - The Jersey Blues cross country team had some outstanding performances while making their mark with personal bests at Stockton University's Osprey Open.
In the women`s 6K race, freshman Kristen Daly, ran her first race of the season placing 127th in a personal best of 37:57.
Freshman, Theodore Purdon, led the men`s team to a 10th place overall team finish and held the top community college placing. Purdon placed 19th in a personal best of 27:02 over the 8K course. He was followed by freshman, Joshua Seba, in 74th place in a personal best of 30:03.
Following Purdon and Seba was freshman Connor Scott in 90th place with a personal best of 30:47. A pair of sophomores, William Broadhurst, who placed 98th with a time of 31:10 and Maksim Popov came in 107th in a personal best of 32:09. Not far behind were the trio of freshman, Joshua Beer, in 113th place with a personal best of 33:13, Axel Linde, in 126th place with a personal best of 40:05, and Darin Perpignan, placing 128th in a personal best of 42:29.
Brookdale`s next meet will be on Saturday, October 2nd, at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by NJIT in Branch Brook Park, Newark N.J.
