Cross Country Competes At Osprey Open

Galloway, NJ - The Brookdale men's and women's cross country teams had another nice showing at the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton University. In the men`s 8K, freshman Liam Broadhurst placed 125th with a time of 30:57.  He was followed by freshman Maksim Popov in 154th with a time of 33:16. Sophomore Ryan Loehr placed 175th with a time of 36:02. Rounding it out for the Jersey Blues was freshman Kevin Gonzalez, who made his collegiate and cross country debut, placing 186th in a time of 38:35.

In the women`s 6K, freshman Malea McMurray placed 157th with a time of 32:16. 

The team will next travel to White Clay State Park for the Blue and Gold Invitational on Saturday, September 28th.
