The Jersey Blues Compete At Dukes XC Invitational

Vineland, NJ- The Brookdale cross country teams competed at the Dukes Invitational on Saturday, September 10th at Cumberland County College. The heat and humidity took a toll on performances for all competitors.

In the women's 5K race, sophomore Hannah Fite took 10th place with a time of (24:10.17). Mercer County College took the team title.

In the men's 5K race, freshman William Nemeth came in 26th with a time of (21:00.21) while freshman Robert Arroyo finished in 31st with a time of (21:31.80). Cumberland County College took home the men's title.

The Jersey Blues will next compete on Saturday September 17th at Rowan University in the Bill Fritz/Charlie Way Invitational.
