Newark, NJ - Under threatening skies, the clouds opened up and it started to rain for the women's NJIT Invitational 5K race. Freshman Brooke Meberg (Ocean Township HighSchool) was unaffected.

Newark, NJ - Under threatening skies, the clouds opened up and it started to rain for the women's NJIT Invitational 5K race. Freshman Brooke Meberg (Ocean Township High School) was unaffected.

Meberg placed 60th out of over 200 runners with a personal record of 21:34. She was the second fastest junior college women across the line and continues to have one of the fastest times in Region 19.

Brookdale will be on the road to Long Island, NY, for the St. Joseph Invitational which will be held at Sunken Meadow State Park on Saturday, October 14th.
