Brookdale Women Place Well At The Osprey Open
Pomona, NJ - The Brookdale women's cross country team competed this past Saturday at the Osprey Open in Ponoma, NJ hosted by Stockton University. It was a picture-perfect day as the women took on the newly designed 6K course.

Freshman Brooke Meberg led the way placing 72nd in a time of 27:44 which was the second fastest time of the day among junior college teams. She was followed across the line by freshman Madison Fernandez who placed 81st in a time of 28:21, placing her 3rd amongst the junior college teams. Finishing off for the Blues was freshman Angelina Lardiere finishing in 105th place with a time of 31:53 which was good for 7th among junior college teams.
Next up for the Jersey Blues women will be their meet on Saturday, September 23rd, in the second annual Jersey Blues Invitational on Brookdale Community College Lincroft campus. The starting time is at 10:30 am for the 5K women's race.
