Women's Volleyball Can't Claw Back, Loses 3-1 To Lehigh Carbon Cougars
Schnecksville, PA - Brookdale's women's volleyball team dropped to 7-7 on Wednesday after losing to the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars in four sets of Region 19 play.
Schnecksville, PA - Brookdale's women's volleyball team dropped to 7-7 on Wednesday after losing to the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars in four sets of Region 19 play.
The first two sets went to the Cougars, 25-11, 25-15, then the Jersey Blues came alive to take the third 25-19, but couldn't claw back and lost in the fourth set, 25-13. Sophomore outside hitter, Isabella Dalatri, led the Blues with nine kills, and freshman middle hitter, Audrey Sousa, spread out her nine points with five kills, two serving aces, and two blocks. Sophomore defensive specialist/libero, Karen Villa Carrasco, assisted on the defensive end with 20 digs.
The Jersey Blues approach their last game of the regular season on Monday, October 21st, at 6:00pm against the Ocean County College Vikings.
