A Strong Finish And Victory For Brookdale Volleyball Over Union

Cranford, NJ - It was a strong finish to an ultimate 3-1 victory for the Brookdale women's volleyball team over the Union College Owls on the road.

The conference foes pulled out the first set, 25-23, but the Jersey Blues rallied thereafter with scores of 25-18, 25-19, and the final dramatic set of 25-23. Leading Brookdale, was sophomore outside hitter, Isabella Dalatri, with 13 kills and five serving aces, and freshman outside hitter, Alana Pytel, followed her with 12 kills. Also assisting with the win was freshman middle hitter, Audrey Sousa, with four kills and six serving aces, and freshman setter, Dalene Dawdy, adding eight kills. 

The 5-5 Jersey Blues will be on the road for their next against the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers on Wednesday, October 9th, with a 6:00pm start.
