Brookdale Digs Deep To Defeat The Atlantic Cape Buccaneers
Lincroft, NJ - Just when you think it's smooth sailing taking two games in a row over Atlantic Cape, the Buccaneers fought back in the third game to make things interesting for Brookdale women's volleyball. The Blues won match one and two, 25-13, 25-23, then lost 14-25. The Blues dug deep in the fourth and final game, winning 25-20.

Sophomore right-side hitter, Lyndsay Truchan, erupted with 13 kills and 14 digs while freshman middle hitter Gabriella Smith and outside hitter Isabella Dalatri each contributed seven kills. Sophomore libero, Denise Gonzalez-Cruz computed 42 digs for the win.
Brookdale moves to 4-4, 4-3 in the conference, and hits the road to match-up with the RCSJ- Gloucester Roadrunners for conference play action.
