Cranford, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team lost their season opening game to the Union College Owls, 3-0, with scores of 25-21, 25-20, and 25-15.
The Jersey Blues were led by freshman outside hitter, Isabella Dalatri (Red Bank Catholic), with nine kills, three aces, and five digs. Sophomore setter, Brandi Donatelli (Raritan High School), attached 13 assists, three aces, and four digs while sophomore libero, Denise Gonzalez-Cruz (Long Branch High School), added 21 digs.
Brookdale travels to Edison, NJ, to challenge the Middlesex College Blue Colts on Wednesday, September 6th for a 6:00pm start time.
