Brookdale Kills It, Shuts Out RCSJ - Gloucester 3-0
Sewell, NJ - The Blues volleyball squad added another win on the road with a 3-0 shutout against the RCSJ - Gloucester Roadrunners. Brookdale improves their record to 6-1 and has positioned themselves as the #2 spot in the Region19 Division III rankings.
Sewell, NJ - The Blues volleyball squad added another win on the road with a 3-0 shutout against the RCSJ - Gloucester Roadrunners. Brookdale improves their record to 6-1 and has positioned themselves as the #2 spot in the Region19 Division III rankings.
The Jersey Blues finished with scores of 25-9, 25-13, and 25-16, and was led by freshman outside hitter, Rebecca Valentin, with eight kills. Freshman outside hitter, Annika Fechtner, also added seven kills, and sophomore right-side hitter, Lyndsay Truchan, racked up another 32 assists for the Blues. Outside hitter, Marina Millett, and sophomore libero, Rebecca Arleth, had significant well-rounded games. Millett accumulated six aces, six kills, three assists, and 39 digs, and Arleth gathered one ace, five kills, two assists, and 33 digs.
Next up for the Jersey Blues squad are the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College which will take place at their den on Monday, September 26th at 6:00pm.
