Volleyball Has Good Showing In Opening Scrimmage

Paramus, NJ - Brookdale volleyball had a nice showing in their scrimmage against the Bergen Community College Bulldogs. Brookdale won four sets, and lost two.

Bergen played tough defense, served and passed well, had a height edge, and the Blues had a few errors costing them the first game 25-22. The Blues bounced in the 2nd and 3rd sets with 25-13, and 25-20 wins. Head Coach, Mike O'Krepki stated, "if we just serve a little better, we sweep. It was only a little more than half of our roster, so I think all in all it was a good showing."

Brookdale opens up their regular season in Edison, NJ on Wednesday, September 7th, 6:00pm, against the Middlesex College Blue Colts.
