Brookdale Women Fall To The Ocean Vikings 3-1

Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team fell in a conference match to the Ocean County College Vikings in four games.

Some highlights from the Blues included outside hitter, Patricia Lennon, who combated six kills, 24 digs, two aces, and two blocks. Freshman right-side hitter, Aubree Gergich, pounded nine kills, 22 digs, and one ace. Freshman outside hitter, Rebecca Arleth, responded with six kills, zero errors, 13 digs, and one ace. 

Adding to the stats board, freshman middle hitter, Jackie Weiss, punched five kills and nine digs as freshman setter, Alexandra Polio, had a season-high 22 assists and nine digs. Freshman, Perla Ortiz-Sarabia, the Blues defensive specialist, added 22 digs and three aces.

The Blues (1-4) will remain on their home court to host the Raritan Valley Community College for the Saturday, the 25th's game against the Raritan Valley Community College Lions at noon.
